Unit Lead

We are searching for a new Residential Lead to join our team. You will be working closely with the Lodge Manager in the day-to-day supervision of residents and staff within the residential community.

You will be supporting the Lodge Manager in:

  • Ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is provided to all residents
  • Supervising the residential community and the care team
  • Ensuring all residents are treated with dignity, respect and their rights to independence and choice are met
  • Understanding and complying with all requirements to maintain a safe environment
  • Participating in the creation and maintenance of individual care plans and accurately reviewing records
  • Understanding and assisting residents and their social and emotional needs
  • Encouraging and supporting residents to participate in leisure activities
  • Overseeing the efficient running of mealtimes and ensuring staff are understanding with residents
  • Assisting Senior Care staff in the administration, control, and storage of medicines – ensuring all strict practices are maintained
  • Monitoring and recording the drug refrigerator and treatment room temperatures daily – reporting to the Manager accordingly

The ideal candidate will:

  • Experience of working in residential care for at least 2 years
  • NVQ 3, or equivalent, qualification in care
  • Passionate about delivering first-class care to our residential community
  • Have good time management skills
  • Be a team player
  • Have strong communication skills

Rate of Pay: £11.50 per hour
