Lighthouse Lodge is a private residential and nursing care home that provides a unique environment, which has been carefully created to meet the needs of residents.

Arranged over four levels using intelligent design, it provides a safe and responsive community of support and expertise.

It welcomes individuals and couples who have made the choice to live in a care home community.

Lighthouse Lodge provides both long and short term care as well as rehabilitation facilities and respite care for people making the transition from hospital to home following medical treatment.

Premium Facilities

High-quality facilities are available to all residents at Lighthouse Lodge.

Each lounge has a kitchenette available for both residents and visitors and a balcony terrace on the top floor provides a tranquil space for residents to enjoy on warm days. Residents can also tune into Sky TV.

Residents who want to enjoy a little peace and quiet, can take time out in the lodge's calming Reading Room. 

Each of these premium facilities will be shared with residents of neighbouring, Marine View Lodge.


Family and friends are more than welcome at Lighthouse Lodge. With prior arrangement, visitors can join residents for meal times or catch up with a cup of tea or coffee in our communal kitchen facilities.

With telephone and internet access in every bedroom, residents can keep in touch with family and friends whenever they choose. Residents also have the option to have their own private phone.

Lighthouse Lodge also provides a full range of external services with visiting professionals including GPs, opticians, hairdressers, chiropodists and physiotherapists.
